In high school, you have homework, sports, clubs and extracurricular activities almost everyday, but it's SUPER important to stay healthy as much as possible! This doesn't mean that you can't have ANY chocolate or candy, but it means that you need to be able to have a balance in your diet. Remember, too much of one thing can turn out to be bad!!

The food pyramid is a pyramid divided into the foods that you should eat, and the amount that you should be eating everyday. There has been an old food pyramid out for quite some time, but the new one is also very interesting. This is because it also takes into account the exercise need that balances out the food that you eat. Grains, vegetables, fruits, milk, meat and beans are all part of your diet everyday. These foods are made of carbohydrates, fatty acids, proteins etc. It's really important to get your serving of each divided section everyday in order to stay happy and healthy!
